  • A Journey Of 3798 Km To Create Awareness & Raised Funds For Disabled Soldiers / Army Athletes & Para Athletes

This historic fundraising cause run was the first of its kind run by Kumar Ajwani, aged 61 years, an Ultra Marathoner, a senior citizen of India who crossed the barrier by running 3800+ km from Kashmir to Kanyakumari for consecutive 70 days. The run started on 19 Nov 2021 on the auspicious day of Gurunanak Jayanti from Patnitop and ended at Kanyakumari on 27 Jan 2022.

For his feat from K2k, Kumar was recognized by the World Book of Records and was also felicitated by Mr Ajit Pawar, Dy. Chief Minister, Government of Maharashtra with a World Book of Records, London certificate for creating this K2k record.

This journey was tough with consecutive running for 70 days for 3800+ km intercity runs with climate, food; self-motivating challenges, and keeping up the high spirit with the vision of 100% utilization of funds for the cause and also continuing with the Mojo of GIVING IS BLISSFUL.

With the objective of promoting fitness and creating awareness for QMTI from North to South, this historic fundraising cause run was to support

  • QMTI – Supporting the rehabilitation of differently-abled soldiers
  • Team Fab Foundation – Upgradation of tribal schools in Maharashtra.

Continuing on the path of bliss through the act of giving, funds amounting to Rs 14 Lacs (Rupees Fourteen Lacs only) were raised from this BOB K2k ATMANIRBHAR BHARAT RUN, of which Rs. 9 Lacs (Rupees Nine Lacs only) were donated to QMTI for betterment of differently abled soldiers and balance of Rs 5 Lacs (Rupees Five Lacs only) to Team Fab Foundation for upgradation of tribal schools in Maharashtra for qualitative education.
