A Step Towards Clean & Safe Drinking Water for Tribal School Children
Access to clean and safe drinking water is a fundamental necessity, especially for young students who spend a significant portion of their day at school. With this vision, a new water filter and cooler equipped with UV RO technology has been installed and inaugurated at Z P Primary School, Vadhu Punarvasan, Pune. This facility will now benefiting 115 school children studying at Z P and 50 Anganwadi kids, ensuring their well-being, health and overall development.
These tribal children across many regions still struggle with a lack of access to safe drinking water and proper sanitation facilities. The absence of these basic necessities not only affects their health but also disrupts their education, forcing many to miss school due to waterborne diseases and unhygienic conditions. This initiative is a step forward in bridging the gap and providing them with a healthier, more dignified learning environment.
The installation of the UV RO water filtration system ensures the availability of pure, bacteria-free, and safe drinking water improving health overall, Significantly reducing the risk of waterborne diseases, promoting better health and fewer sick days among the students, especially with Anganwadi kids.
Proper hydration contributes to stronger immunity and overall well-being, keeping children active and focused throughout the day, ensuring better academic performance.
